Poem dedicated by my dearest friend to her lost father

Father, where are you…


I’m looking around, you seemed to be right here father
Where are you…..

I closed my eyes and drifted slowly to sleep,and in my thoughts you were there to keep
Sitting next to me
And as I slept you sat there to see

“Why are you smiling father?”, I asked
You just smiled and said nothing
“Hold me father”, I cried
You smiled again I wanted to smile too, and I tried

Your hands touched me, it felt warm
That instance it felt like peace after a storm
You were there right in front of my sight
Comforting, watching all through out the night

I had to talk to u father
I woke up to find you
I needed to tell lots which were all still due
But you weren’t there my angel

Father, where are you…

I need to tell you ….
“Father, No one could ever tear apart
The love I have for you in my heart
Like the waves that beat the shore
My love for you will ever grow”
