At +HP a life of Glory
Oct 30th 2003 the day that turned my life
This was the day when i stepped my leg into the giant building called HP towers. It was a small replica of Twin towers in U.S(no major imagination) but there was no crash made with this building till now. I was very nervous because this was the first time i am getting into a big organization and ofcourse it was my first job. The main thing is i attended the interview with the gal that i loved. It made me very happy, gave me confidence that i can achieve things in life. My main aim was to get settle well in life, so that i can keep my loved one happy. The first person i met was Suresh, after a year he left the job. He is very nice guy, i like his patience and he is soft spoken. I attended the HP overview training which was taken by few of the managers working in HP and ofcourse the man behind the whole show Sriram(center head for the organisation).
This was my first job and it made me happy in a way that i started earning at young age. The painfull thing was i left my gal alone, she did not get the offer letter at the time when i got it. We use to meet everyday before i started working. She was missing me and i was missing her badly. There were lot of people inside the organization, which brought a slight fear in me because i have never faced this kind of situation in my life before. Me and suresh was put into a training called metamorphosis. The training took place in a five star hotel (Taj). We met lot of people and made new friends in life. I liked it very much and the trainer told me that i can be a good negotiator, this is because i negotiated and got chocolates for my team.
There were few competitions held and my team finished second. After attending the training we were asked to meet HR for the allocation of Team's that we have to work in. We were a bunch of 20 members and from that i was the only person been moved to a different team. I felt bad, hard to take it because i was separated from them. The initial training brought us close and within a week we have to separate was real pain. I took it in the right sense. Nov is the month i stepped into a team called amendments in HP. I got introduced to the manager (sethu krish),who was sweet to me at the beginning. They gave me a place to sit and a comp to browse(he he).
The entire team will be having fun since most of the people are freshers from college like me and i liked it, but when i get up from my place everyone will keep quite. This made me feel lonely, i was trying to find out the reason. Two days went by and i thought the reason is because they must have thought me as TL , i went to the manager and asked him to introduce me to the team which they did not do it at the beginning. My manager came and introduced me to the team and i saw a big sigh of relief in their eyes, after the introduction they started speaking to me. The best team that i can ever work with.
People were very caring like, balaji,nanda,anupama,anuradha.santhoshi,sassirekha,vidisha the list is big and i will never forget them in my life. My process is suppose to be the most complicated process in Gebc-chennai. Though i worked in a complicated process, we still had lot of fun within the team. We use to go out at 12 in midnight to icecream shops and hotels. I dont think anyother company would give so much liberty to employees. I was working in night shift and my timings is 9 p.m-6 a.m. Anywere i go for work i am sure these people will always be there in my memories. World is very small and life is very short if at all i get an opportunity to work with them where ever i go i will cherish all the moments (too much of an asking). I worked in amendments for a year and a half and now i have been moved to a different team called world wide reference group. Hoping that the new journey would bring happiness and success in my life.

dood! where is your post! I just see a Blank.. waiting.....
hmmm.....After reading all this i feel that we have missed out on each other over a long period of time.. good thing that this is a medium to openup.
One small pointer. Edit your blog settings so that other people who read it can also comment on it. Or if you want to keep it closed then dont make that change!
